Bhagwat Gita Seminar by Iskon's

Recently I had attended Bhagwat Gita seminar conducted by Iskon's and the speaker who came was just too good.
I was supposed to be attending for 4 days but couldnt manage to go all days.
But in the first day small thing that I could understand from the seminar is;
That we now a days are so busy that we hardly find time for God and run behind stuff that are from this mortal work.
Our body is mortal but our soul is immortal, we should do good things all the time.
Also there are 7 miseries that no one can escape on of those I couldnt remember,
those are catagorized into 2:-
Birth
Death
Disease
Old Age
And the second catagory is:
Our own mind and heart
Natural Calamities

We are all in Bhav-sagar - The meaning is Bhav is Misery and greed and Sagar is Ocean.
To live a perfect life as God desires we should be truthful and honest to one's soul and follow his path.
Below were the versus that he had presented on his PPT which I really liked it.
Putting it down here so that everyone can read.

"What is this Life full of care??
We have no time to stand and stare
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheeps and cows".
The paradox of our time in history
is that we have taller buildings,
but shorter tempers;
Wider freeways,but narrower viewpoints,
We spend more but have less
We buy more but enjoy less,
Bigger houses but smaller families.
More convienence, but less time
We have more degrees but less sense
More knowledge but less judgement.

Happiness

Last evening I had reached home early. Had long list of agenda for the evening.

Called up the parlour woman took appointment; wanted to do something to fresh-up and look good and become happy as had a small argument with my love. Took a short nap before heading for the parlour; to gain PEACE OF MIND; as I was too depressed and wanted to be HAPPY.

While I was still asleep;  my phone rang and when I saw it was my mother. She wanted me to attain the mass at the church; as there were 2 missionary priests who has come down for a special prayer, they in fact had already visited our house some days before when I was in the office.

Well, the reason behind telling this story is I finally experienced Peace of Mind and felt happy……the mass went on for 2 hours……..the initial hour was a normal mass continuing with the missionary mass and then adoration…..!!!

The hymn's that were sung were touching my soul; it gave me a fatherly touch of God's presence amongst us. One of the hymn that really made me happy was “Happiness”….do not remember the entire hymn but it says….happiness is a state of mind, when we think we are happy we become happy and vice-versa. God wants us to be happy and he creates everything around us so pleasant that we should be happy and become happy but we do not understand…!!!

Even my love keeps on saying the same thing; but when I heard these in that hymn I could connect his said words and also all the situations of my life and so I decided no matter what happens I shall stay happy hereafter…………..!!! 

Amazing Light..............Out of the DARK tunnel..!!

Our life is a road where we find no start or no end. We walk and we follow the road. The twist the turn is unknown to us, till the time we reach there.......

Have you ever wondered, why ??? Well neither i had thought about it, till the time i did experienced it myself.
We cry, we crib but ultimately, the Almighty above is the one who is the deciding authority.....!!

I had been into mental stress past few months, but then instate of turning to HIM i tried using my own ways to solve it, couldn't find any answer to all the questions arising in my mind. I was totally disappointed as too why does HE not answer to any of my question. One morning, i just woke up and rushed to the Church. Prayed there for some while and finally came to a conclusion that i should approach HIM the Almighty..!!

I am amazed to see the kind of changes that came in my life over the past 2 weeks..........well this is one of the reason to write here on this blog. So that everyone should experience HIS grace...................!!

I saw my Amazing light.............Out of the dark tunnel that i was in...!!!
